About Us

We are the new owners of Panhandle Show Goats. I met Ms. Linda Andersen in the spring of 2019 and proceeded to purchase several doelings for my grandchildren to show in her April sale. Linda was providing a service to the youth of the area that was really commendable.  Her desire to provide quality, affordable 4-H and FFA show goats to the youth of Nebraska and sounding areas was something that I thought I would pursue at some point. Little did I know that Linda was going to provide me with that opportunity as soon as the late fall of 2019. When she contacted me about the need to sell her herd I was foolish enough to ask her about keeping the herd together and purchasing them all. Through her cooperation and the support of our grandchildren we made arrangements to move the Panhandle Show Goat herd to Boyd County, Nebraska where I have farmed and ranched for 45 years while being an Agricultural Science teacher, FFA advisor and school administrator. I have been a 4-H leader and FFA advisor and supported youth livestock exhibitors for several years. Currently I am serving the Hay Springs School district as the Superintendent and Agricultural Science Instructor/FFA Advisor.
